       <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA Tuesday, December 8, 2020 <br />Planning Commission Hearings 7:00 p.m. <br />James McGrade, Chair                             Gary Brattain, Vice Chair <br />Sara Barnes-Ramos, Commission <br />Member <br />Dan Phu, Commission <br />Member <br />Melanie Schlotterbeck , Commission <br />Member <br />This agenda contains a brief general description of each item the Commission will consider. The Planning Division <br />has on file copies of written documentation relating to each item of business on this Agenda available for public <br />inspection. Contact the Planning Department's Office at (714) 990-7674, planning@cityofbrea.net or view the <br />Agenda and related materials on the City’s website at www.cityofbrea.net. <br />PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL EMERGENCY CONCERNING THE COVID-19 VIRUS DECLARED BY THE BREA <br />CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 19, 2020 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20 ISSUED BY GOVERNOR GAVIN <br />NEWSOM ON MARCH 18, 2020, THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED <br />TELEPHONICALLY VIA THE ZOOM TELECONFERENCING PLATFORM. <br />To limit the spread the COVID-19 virus, the Council Chambers will not be open to the public. Public <br />comments will be accepted in in writing and by teleconference. The meeting will also be broadcast live at <br />www.cityofbrea.net. <br />   <br />Procedures for Addressing the Commission <br />The Commission encourages public participation during Public Hearings and under Matters from the Audience. State <br />Law prohibits the Commission from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda.  <br />Written comments must be to the Planning Division at planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 4:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, Decmber 8, 2020.  The email subject line should state: "Brea Planning Commission Meeting” <br />followed by the number of the relevant agenda item and/or “Non-Agenda Item.” Summaries of all written <br />comments will be read during the meeting by City Staff. <br />To provide comments by teleconference, members of the public must contact City Staff at (714) 990-7674 or <br />planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 to obtain the Zoom Meeting <br />ID number.  Teleconference participants will be muted until recognized at the appropriate time by the <br />Commission. <br />To watch the meeting via Zoom, members of the public must contact City Staff at (714) 990-7674 or <br />planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 to obtain the Zoom Meeting ID <br />number. The meeting will also be broadcast live at www.cityofbrea.net. <br />Special Accommodations <br />In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in this meeting, <br />please contact the Planning Division at (714) 990-7674. Notification 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable City <br />staff to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility. (28 CFR 35.102.35.104 ADA Title II) <br />ALL PLANNING COMMISSION DECISIONS MAY BE APPEALED TO THE CITY COUNCIL WITHIN TEN (10) <br />CALENDAR DAYS OF THE MEETING.
