City of Brea Agenda Item: 18 <br />COUNCIL COMMUNICATION Date: July 17, 2012 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: City Manager <br />SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION OF CENTRAL PARK VILLAGE BREA ENTITLEMENT <br />DOCUMENTS FOR A PROPOSED MIXED USE PROJECT AT 340 -420 W. <br />CENTRAL AVENUE <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve all documents related to the Central Park Village Brea development proposal. <br />Approve Resolutions and Ordinances as listed below (full text included in Attachment B): <br />1) Resolution Certifying Final Environmental Impact Report No. EIR 11 -01 which <br />includes a Statement of Overriding Considerations (SOC) <br />2) Resolution adopting General Plan Amendment No. GPA 12 -01 <br />3) Ordinance for first reading approving Zone Change No. ZC 12 -01 concerning <br />property referenced in the Central Park Village Brea proposal <br />4) Ordinance for first reading approving Development Agreement No. DA 12 -01 <br />concerning property referenced in the Central Park Village Brea proposal <br />Staff recommends further reading of Ordinances to be waived. <br />Final modifications to the Development Agreement which have been proposed since the <br />Planning Commission's hearing are shown in bold text in Attachment B.4, and are <br />discussed within this report. <br />10 <br />
